Performance Prowess:
Under the hood, the 1998 Integra Type-R boasted a high-revving 1.8-liter inline-four engine, meticulously tuned to churn out 195 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque. While these figures might seem modest by today's standards, it's crucial to remember that the Type-R wasn't just about raw power; it was about harnessing every morsel of performance with surgical precision.
The magic lay not just in the engine's output, but in the way it delivered power. With a redline soaring to an exhilarating 8,400 RPM, the VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) system came alive, unleashing a symphony of mechanical harmony as the car surged forward with unbridled enthusiasm. Paired with a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission, every shift felt like a synchronized dance between man and machine.

A stiffer suspension setup, lightweight forged aluminum wheels, and larger anti-roll bars endowed the Type-R with an unparalleled agility through corners. Whether attacking hairpin bends or carving through sweeping curves, the Integra Type-R remained planted and composed, inspiring confidence in the driver with every twist of the wheel.
