The Long Tail Rally
aka: The "chill" rally
LongTail Rally is a group of exotic and sportscar car owners on a high-octane road trip of a lifetime. This is not a race, it's a spirited drive by automotive enthusiasts, maneuvering around the country from city to city. A rolling spectacle on an epic journey to find America's finest driving roads, enjoying a lavish and relaxed 5 star lifestyle along the way. Participants leave with new lifelong friends and a plethora of new business contacts and opportunities.
Most participants are successful entrepreneurs and business owners, including the organizers. They built a rally we wanted to attend. Lots of thrill, but also lots of downtime to socialize, relax and (if necessary) keep up on work.
The journey consists of staying two nights in most of the cities they visit to actually enjoy the amazing resorts. Drives are in the 4-6 hour range and they don’t leave until 10-11am. With optional local drives on the off days, you can maximize seat time, hit the spa, or explore the local surroundings.
Some of the best memories of rallies were made out of the car, the cars just bring us all together.
